Ogadimma Ebele
Ogadimma (pronounced Oh-guh-dee-muh) is a Nigerian-American screenwriter based in Los Angeles, California. Originally from Boston, Massachusetts, and raised by Nigerian immigrant parents, she brings a unique blend of East Coast sensibility and Nigerian heritage to her storytelling.
Ogadimma specializes in writing sitcoms and sketch comedy, Her work often explores themes of self-awareness, existential tension, and social ethics. Her writing is defined by its strong character development, structural precision, and grounded humor.
Ogadimma studied Creative Writing and English Literature from the University of Massachusetts Boston. She’s also studied sketch comedy, improv, and screenwriting at Upright Citizens Brigade, The Pack Theater, Groundlings, and Second City. Her work has been published in the University of Massachusetts Boston’s Watermark and Undercurrents Journal. She was a finalist in Screencraft’s Comedy Pilot Competition and placed in the top 25% of Nickelodeon’s Writing Program.
