Corey Taft
Corey David Taft is a writer, performer and producer. He has studied improv and sketch comedy with The Pack Theater, UCB, and Monkey Butler. Corey performs with The Pack Theater improv team, Pleather, on the 1st and 3rd Sundays of the month, and the Pack sketch team, Good Sandwich, on the 1st Wednesday of the month. He graduated from Cal State LA with a M.F.A. in Theater, Television and Film. He is a semifinalist in the Austin Film Festival’s TV Pilot category and a runner up of Script Pipeline’s TV Writing award for his original 30-minute comedy, Future Me and Me. In addition to scriptwriting, Corey performs spoken word poetry. In 2019, he traveled around the country, performing in over 100 different venues. Corey is the Great Great Great Great Great Grand-nephew of former LA mayor, Henry Hazard, and he has a screenshot proving he was the first person to like Taylor Swift’s song, Wi$h Li$t, on YouTube.
