Lesley Tsina

Lesley Tsina is a writer and performer from Palo Alto, CA. She currently teaches sketch comedy writing at Upright Citizens Brigade Theater in Los Angeles and has directed many sketch teams for Pack Theater and Boogiemanja LA. She also co-directs Sketch Cram at UCB.

Lesley studied theatre at Swarthmore College, then started doing improv and sketch at UCB, on Harold teams Hugboat and The Galleria and Maude teams Paddington and Extreme Tambourine. She’s also performed with Color Collective, The Golden Hour and all-female improv team Slave Leia.

Lesley appeared in episodes of “Black-ish,” “Community,” “Conan,” “Flaked,” “Funny or Die Presents” and many commercials, including the one where the camel walks around the office saying “Hump Day.” She’s written for Warner Bros Animation on “ThunderCats Roar,” and “Yabba Dabba Dinosaurs,” and also for “Talking Tom,” Studio C, and Circa Laughs. As a contributing editor of the cult comedy anthology, The Devastator she wrote the best-selling book: “Restart Me Up: the Unauthorized Un-Accurate Oral History of Windows 95.”

Her solo show, “Lord of the Files” has been performed at the Comedy Central Stage, Dallas Solo Fest and the Vancouver and Minnesota Fringe Festivals. Other live shows include the CBS Diversity Showcase, Tournament of Nerds, SF Sketchfest and The San Francisco Improv Festival. In her free time she paints and does a lot of baking.
