Pack Hollywood Comedy Festival - Now Accepting Applications
Located in the Heart of Hollywood’s Theater District in Los Angeles, California, The Pack Theater is hosting a brand new comedy festival this Labor Day Weekend (Aug 29, Aug 30, Aug 31, Sept 1, 2024). After bringing you live comedy shows for over a decade and hosting several successful festivals including PackCon and PackChella, we want to welcome you to be a part of our biggest event yet: PackFest. Our four-day festival will showcase the best of Short Films, Sketches, Stand-Up, Clown, Comedy Podcasts, Character Bits & More!
Performers & Teams
Get on stage at the Pack Hollywood Comedy Festival. We’ve designed an inclusive environment to help everyone from up-and-coming talent to a-list celebrities showcase the future of comedy in a city that is known for shaping culture and entertainment around the world. Bring your sketch or improv team, your one-person show, your tightest standup set, a live episode of your podcast, or any piece you think the world needs to see and help make this the coolest, weirdest, and funnest festival you’ve ever been to.
Film Submissions
We are currently accepting applications for comedic films in the following categories for live presentation in Los Angeles for the film festival portion of PackFest: Comedy Shorts, Microshorts and Sketch Comedy, Animation, Filmed Pilots, Webseries, & Midnights.
For filmmakers who receive an official acceptance, we'll host a collection of panels by working industry professionals. A filmmakers’ lounge will be available exclusively for those with an official acceptance into our inaugural class in addition to a variety of awards and prizes.
