Emily Markoe made her way to LA via San Francisco and trained at The Pack, Groundlings, UCB, and Endgames Improv (SF Tonight, La Spazzatura, Naptime Comedy). Maybe you’ve caught her performing at SF Sketchfest, Austin Out of Bounds, the San Diego Improv Festival, or the Westside Comedy Festival. Or maybe you’ve just seen that Starbucks Holiday GIF where she says “thank you soooooo much”. (By the way, thank you soooooo much for using that GIF.) Her film The Makeover appeared at the San Francisco Independent Film Festival, the Alameda International Film Festival, and the North Bay Film & Art Festival. Fact: though Emily is a classical opera singer, she really only wears viking helmets on special occasions – and exclusively to scare people.
