Alana Carithers is a sketch and improv comedienne residing in Los Angeles, hailing from South Carolina by way of the University of Georgia. She has studied at the Upright Citizens Brigade and the Pack Theater. She is stoked to write and perform for the Pack Theater’s house sketch team “Shame!” You can see her perform with her wildly indie improv team Uncle’s on Parole around LA, featured on FunnyorDie and Comedy Cake, and with Shame! the fourth Wednesday of every month.
Ambika Chottera is a writer, comedian, and performer based in Los Angeles. She grew up playing harp and learning Indian Classical Dance (Bharata Natyam) including abhinaya (body and facial expression) in New Jersey which pushed her to further her creative pursuits. After graduating from GWU with an international affairs degree and being a soulless, less than perfect government employee for a year, Ambika decided it was actually time to start honing the craft she was passionate about, comedy, and started taking sketch writing class in Washington, DC at Dojo Comedy. She moved out to LA and starting taking class at the Writing Pad and sketch comedy at Pack Theater. She continues to learn and absorb as much as possible in the comedy community and currently lives her happily-ever-after performing with Pack Theater’s amazing house team, Dr. America, every first Wednesday of the month.
Christopher Corbin is a performer that was born and raised in Los Angeles. He started improvising at the L.A. Connection in 1993. Since then he has studied at The Pack Theater, UCB, IO west, Groundlings, and any where else he could get some knowledge. His musical improv team Meaningful Touch runs an all musical improv show at the Clubhouse. Christopher is so proud to be on the house sketch team Dr. America, and the house improv team Rat Throat. Christopher can be seen acting on Jane The Virgin, 2 Broke Girls, Angie Tribeca, Casual, Mary + Jane, and in random commercials playing bad guys. Katherine Cowell is a comedy writer and performer for the sketch team Dr. America. Her sketches are a theatrical–sometimes musical–mix of light and dark humor, and often include over the top props and costumes. Dr. America is her favorite thing to do–come see them live, first Wednesday night of every month, at the Pack Theater!
Michael Gabriel is an actor/writer from Columbus, Ohio. He started playing football in the 2nd grade, eventually being recruited to play at Yale University. After realizing there’s more to life than 6am work outs and eating 7000 calories a day, he quit, lost 75 lbs, and began performing comedy with Yale improv group Just Add Water. After graduating with a GPA slightly higher than George W Bush’s, Michael moved to Los Angeles to pursue comedy and acting. He’s been in commercial spots for Hewlett Packard, CrossPaths – a Christian dating app, and a Stanley Steemer commercial that exclusively aired on the Animal Network. He performs with The Pack Theater sketch team Dr. America and iO West Main Stage sketch team Thriller. He doesn’t have a website yet but probably should.
Alex Kidd is a writer and comedian based out of Los Angeles. He began improvising at the Upright Citizens Brigade theater in 2010 and has since gone on to perform stand-up comedy and sketch comedy at UCB, iO, Second City, and various other comedy venues. Most recently, Alex joined The Pack Theater writing and performing with the house sketch comedy team, Dr. America. Alex writes for several online publications, has been nominated for a Saveur award, and runs the comedy beer website, www.dontdrinkbeer.com.
Christine Little is a Los Angeles-based actress and comedian. She has been on FOX’s “LAUGHS” multiple times, has performed at comedy festivals and clubs all over the country, opened for headliners such as Mad TV’s Bobby Lee, and has also been featured on the front page of Funny or Die and The Huffington Post. In addition to comedy, Christine is a certified life coach which led her into co-producing the monthly panel advice show, “You Got Issues” with her best friend and Dr. America teammate, Laura Malone Hunt. Christine hosts her YouTube show, “My Talented Friends”, airing new videos every other Friday. Overall, Christine wants you to like her and be impressed by her life…ARE YOU?! Stephen Loh is a writer and occasional performer born and raised in the suburbs of Los Angeles. He’s studied sketch and improv at iO West, The Pack Theater, and UCB. He watches too much pro wrestling and isn’t afraid to drink alone at a bar. He’s #blessed to be part of TPT house sketch team, Dr. America, and iO West Mainstage Sketch Team, BISHOP.
Laura Malone Hunt is an actor, writer and comedian. She studied acting in NYC with William Esper before moving to Los Angeles to pursue bigger closets. Once in LA, she started studying sketch and improv at UCB, the Groundlings and the Pack Theater. Currently, Laura is on the Pack Theater house sketch team, Dr. America, and the Upright Citizens Brigade Maude Team, Sugar. She also co-produces a monthly stand-up show at Bar Lubitsch called “You Got Issues,” with her bestie and Dr. America teammate, Christine Little. Laura’s sketch videos have been featured on the Huffington Post and the front page of Funny or Die. Becca Scott Kerns is an actor, host, writer, and improvisor. She likes dry red wines, primarily Malbecs and Cab Sav’s. She also plays table-top games and knows way too much about Game of Thrones and other fantasy series. You may recognize her as that girl putting together a Christmas Tree for four seconds in a Home Depot holiday commercial. She also studied improv at UCB and sketch writing at The Pack Theater. Susan Song is an actor, writer, and comedian from the Bay Area. She has studied improv and sketch comedy in LA at The Pack Theater, UCB, and The Groundlings. You may have seen her on Jimmy Kimmel and the last season of The Office. She’s also appeared in numerous commercials including Belvita, Jack Links, Dunkin Donuts, and Cottonelle. She’s super excited to be performing with her Pack Theater sketch team Shame! every fourth Wednesday of the month.
