Gil Baron

Gil Baron is a native Angelino. He was the Producer and Head Writer of the monthly late night, live show It’s Past My Bedtime with Topher Harless, which ran for over two years. In 2015 he wrote for the CBS Diversity Showcase and was hand picked to produce The Upright Citizen’s Brigade’s inaugural Digital Lab Webseries, Mother Mary. He also currently produces The 88 Show at the Hollywood Improv and writes for The National Lampoon’s Final Edition Podcast.

He began his career working for Comic Relief, the legendary comedy telethon founded by Bob Zmuda. After Comic Relief, Gil went on to work in development at Comedy Central and Dreamworks. He produced the award winning sketch group, Monster Party as well as the acclaimed The Goddamn Comedy Jam, now on Comedy Central.

At The Pack, he produces Your TPT Late Night Show tonight and directs whenever he is called upon to do so, like he did for The Night Cap with Stacy Rumaker and The Chopping Block.

He is very proud of his accomplishments, but sometimes he worries that he’s already met the One and messed it up by using the wrong ‘your.’

Ben Kuerschner

Ben Kuerschner is a joke writer and cheerful malcontent. At The Pack Theater he is writer, director, and producer for Your TPT Late Night Show Tonight and Your TPT Family Dinner Tonight, director and producer for The Night Cap with Stacy Rumaker, and a member of the house sketch team Gunslinger. He also co-produces the Pack’s yearly three day comedy music festival, Packchella.

Outside the Pack he writes for The National Lampoon’s Final Edition Podcast. He was also the Producer and Head Monologue Writer of the monthly late night live show It’s Past My Bedtime with Topher Harless, as well as writer and producer for The 88 Show with Avery Pearson at the Hollywood Improv.

He began his career writing monologue jokes for The Tonight Show with Jay Leno. Besides writing jokes for The Tonight Show, Ben worked there as a coordinator. He started his TV career as an NBC Page. He spends most of his current day job posting jokes to Twitter instead; you can see if you think it’s worth it here:

Ben’s tombstone will read “I’m pretty happy with how this turned out, but if you have any notes I’d love to hear them.”

Elyssa Phillips

A native New Yorker, Elyssa has been acting since the age of 5 (she still owns the little red dress with the black bow from when she played Annie at the age of 6).

After studying at the British American Drama Academy in England, and graduating from The University of the Arts in Philadelphia, Elyssa spent her time performing around the country in various theatrical productions, from Shakespeare’s “As You Like It” and “Measure For Measure”, to the long-running improvisational comedies “Tony ‘n Tina’s Wedding” and “Shear Madness”.

Since making the move out west to L.A., Elyssa has been seen in various commercials and television shows, including featured roles on “Silicon Valley”, “The Mindy Project”, and “Chelsea”, among others.

At The Pack, Elyssa is a founding member of the TPT house sketch team Tantrum and the co-producer of the monthly show Chopping Block Comedy.

She is a very big fan of matzoh ball soup and sour pickles – in case you’re wondering.
