Improvising Your Way to an Original TV Pilot (IN-PERSON) - Alison Tafel

$99.00

November 15th (One-Day-Only) Sunday 11am-2pm . IN-PERSON!
“Improvising Your Way To An Original Pilot” with Emmy-nominated TV comedy writer Alison Tafel (BoJack Horseman, Twisted Metal, The Tonight Show w/Jimmy Fallon) will teach advanced improvisers how to utilize all their amazing improv skills and apply them directly into television writing.

You’re a fantastic improviser. You’ve trained at all the comedy places, and now you want to write your first original pilot. The question is, can you use improv to help you write? The answer? YES!

In this workshop, we will be on our feet, “yes and-ing” our pilot brainstorms and “heightening” out character creation. This new, active, and completely different way of looking at television pilots will finally bring fun and spontaneity back into original script generation, instead of making it feel like an isolated and daunting task.

NOTE: This workshop requires previous improv experience.
