House Improv Team Auditions Now Open

Ever wanted to be on an existing or new Pack Theater house improv team performing regularly in Hollywood? Convinced already? Apply Here

We plan on holding the first round of auditions on Saturday, May 11th from 12-6 pm and the second round will be on Saturday, May 18th from 12-3 pm. Teams will have their first show in July. House teams perform every other week on Sunday and Wednesday nights as part of our House Night block.

There is no class requirement to be on a house team at the Pack Theater. We care about your talent not where you learned it from. Also, we allow our teams to perform any improv form they choose and encourage them to create their own.

If you would like to audition in a group, please make sure that all members apply individually so that we have a record of everyone. We will do our best to honor your request to audition together, though you may all not end up on the same team.

Tips

Do a Jam - The Pack Theater is a community, if you are looking for people to audition with or just want to get a feel for the theater, we have free improv jams every Thursday at 7:00. Just show up and get on stage!

See a Show - You may be a part of an all-new team, but you may also be added to an existing one. It is encouraged to check out some of the teams and get a sense of the range of styles here at the theater. Get tickets to the Wednesday or Sunday house nights here.

Take a Class - While classes are not required, they are also offered without prerequisites. You can get to know our teachers and brush up on your skills before audition time by signing up for an improv class or workshop. Start with Level 1 or hop straight into Level 4 with Founder Miles Stroth.

Make a Practice Group - Getting together and getting familiar with the group you are auditioning with can help you put your best foot forward. If you are looking for a coach who knows The Pack’s style and can get your team ready, make a post in our community Facebook group.

Do More Shows - Shows taking submissions are regularly posted to the Facebook group, but you can also take a look at this list of submission shows to find ways to get on stage and meet community members.
